Your earnings live under Creator → Monetization. There is exactly one balance, and it covers prompts, skills and blogs together.
Where the money comes from
Nothing on Prompt Dock is priced or sold per item. Every month a creator pool is set aside: up to 15% of net subscription revenue. That pool is then split between creators by weighted points. The pot is bounded, so points only decide who gets which slice of it, never how large it is.
What earns points:
- Prompt reveal — a paying subscriber unlocking your premium prompt, counted once per person. Reveals of free prompts, and your own reveals, earn nothing.
- Skill install — a completed install, worth 3× a view. An install that never finishes pays nothing.
- Skill view — the same weight as a prompt reveal, and also counted once per person, with your own views excluded.
- Signed-in blog view — the same weight as a prompt reveal, but counted once per reader per day: a regular who comes back daily earns points every day, unlike a reveal or an install, which earns once ever.
- Anonymous blog view — the same per-day counting, discounted to 0.1× a signed-in view, because it cannot be tied to an account.
No single creator can take more than 25% of one pool. What the cap holds back is not redistributed to everyone else — it stays with the platform, so the pool is a ceiling on what creators are paid, not a figure that is always paid out in full.
When it clears
A month's allocation lands as Pending, then clears into your withdrawable balance 30 days later. That reserve window covers refunds and chargebacks. Monetization lists every period with its points, its allocation and its status, so you can see money on the way before it arrives.
Getting paid
- Open Settings → Billing and find Creator payouts. Choose Set up payouts, pick the country you'll be paid in and whether you're receiving payouts as an individual or a company. If payouts aren't open in your country yet, you can ask to be told when they are: your earnings keep accruing either way.
- Choose Continue to Stripe. If you haven't signed in recently, you'll be asked to confirm it's you first (your password, a code from your authenticator app, or an emailed sign-in link). Stripe then collects your identity and bank details; Prompt Dock never sees them.
- Come back once Stripe reports the account Active. Withdraw works from that point, and Manage in Stripe opens Stripe's own dashboard for bank or identity changes.
- Withdraw any cleared amount at or above the minimum shown under Withdraw.
A withdrawal is something you request. Nothing is paid out automatically, and once a request reaches Stripe the timing of the bank transfer is Stripe's. You can request one every 30 days on the free Creator plan and every 7 days on any paid plan, from a minimum of US$50. A withdrawal shows Sending to Stripe… until its transfer is confirmed, then Sent to Stripe.
If the payouts section can't do something you asked, the message it shows is explained on Payout messages, with what to do next.
Fees
Every withdrawal shows a review before anything is sent: what leaves your Prompt Dock balance, each payout fee, and what you'll receive. The fees are set per withdrawal, so withdrawing everything at once costs least. An active-account fee is charged only on your first withdrawal of a calendar month, and a cross-border fee applies when your payout account is outside the United States. Stripe bills that account fee only for months in which it pays your bank, so when your withdrawals paid more account fees than Stripe billed, the difference is credited back to your balance early in the month after next, and the withdrawal it rode on says so.
Holds after a change
Withdrawals pause for 72 hours after a change someone else could have made: connecting a different payout account, changing the bank in Stripe, or changing your email, password or two-step sign-in. A new account that already has a balance waits the same time before its first withdrawal. The payouts section names the change and the time withdrawals resume, and we email you about the change. If you didn't make it, secure your account and contact support.
Your Stripe account and your bank
A withdrawal moves money from Prompt Dock to your Stripe account. Stripe then pays your bank on the schedule you chose in Stripe. In your Stripe account, under your payout account, shows that schedule, your Stripe balance, your bank and Stripe's recent bank payouts. If Stripe can't pay your bank, the money goes back to your Stripe balance and the section tells you; update the bank in Manage in Stripe.
Removing or disconnecting
Remove or disconnect under your payout account previews what will happen before you confirm:
- An account that never received a withdrawal is removed: the Stripe account is deleted.
- An account that received money is disconnected: Prompt Dock stops sending withdrawals to it, and the Stripe account stays open. Sign in at connect.stripe.com/express_login with the same email to see its balance and past payouts.
- Neither is possible while a withdrawal is still being sent to Stripe.
Your Prompt Dock balance is unchanged either way, and you can set up payouts again at any time. If you close the account from Stripe's side, or support disconnects it, the payouts section says so and shows Set up payouts again.
